Here at Bailey Farms, Inc., we are fully committed to being the best suppliers and marketers of

At the same time we realize that quality and safety go hand-in-hand. In order to produce what
can be called a “quality” product, care must be taken to protect not only the appearance and
taste of the commodity, but also its integrity as a food that is safe to eat. The face of
food-borne illness is constantly changing with each year bringing new obstacles to overcome in order to
fulfill this responsibility. But here at Bailey Farms, Inc. realize that the consequences and results
of food-borne disease are too great to be taken lightly and no matter how much effort is required the
integrity of our food must be maintained. Therefore it is our mission to ensure that the commodities that
pass in and out of our facilities are absolutely safe to be eaten. We accomplish this by means of a
food safety program centered ongoing personnel training in food safety principles, such as those that are
a part of Good Agricultural Practices (GAP) and Good Handling Practices (GHP). In addition,
our food safety program is placed under the supervision of Scientific Certification Systems (SCS)
who makes sure that proper standards of handling and sanitation are pursued and met through quarterly
inspections and audits of our facility and operating procedures.
